Dylan Vs. Sex Drive
So I went to the movie “Sex Drive” with my friends and to be quite honest I had very low expectations going into it. I was under the illusion that it would be a typical movie about a teenager trying to lose his virginity, a movie that I have seen one too many times before.
Don’t get me wrong, essentially it was one of those sexually oriented crude comedies with a bit of heart chucked in and I thought it was a pretty average movie up until the last quarter of the movie.
See that’s what amazed me, how an average movie managed to turn itself around to me in the final stretch of the film. I think it was how everything came together so weirdly in the parking lot scene. It totally skewered my opinion about the movie as a whole. I won’t divulge too much into the plot, but go see it for yourself and let me know what you think! You might be pleasantly surprised. Then again, you might not.
