My Social Map
Everyone is connected in some way another as we found out in todays exercise of Social Mapping. Everyone started out with their name in the middle, then we proceeded to answer a set of personal questions and post them up surrounding your name and connecting them via pieces of wool.
We then proceeded to connect all the same answers together via a different coloured piece of wool.
Tonight it’s our job to represent the data using a program called Gephi and present it in the morning.
Side Note: I decided to take a rather alternate route with my Social map, hence why my answers are going off in multiple directions across the room, opposed to just on a two dimensional plane.
This is what I did today at University, I think this course is going to be a perfect match for me. I’m looking forward to what the rest of the year holds.
