Confessions: Round 2: Part 2

are you a free choice or prescribed morality kind of guy?

I have morals. I try follow them the best as I can. I try not to judge people.

My morals are derived from those in which I was taught in my time at Church. Personally I think it’s essential that everyone has morals of some kind, everyone needs to know where they stand.

If you had to live in one country in the Northern Hemisphere which country would that be and why? A person/s cannot be a reason/justification for choosing that country.

Canada. Hands down. I don’t even know any Canadians. But it looks like a lovely place, very beautiful and relaxed. It’s almost like a less political version of America. It’s also in a convenient place for visiting other places around the world!

Tell us more about what you’re doing next year education-wise.

Next year I am going to AUT to study a Bachelor of Creative Technologies. To make it simple I will bullet point some of the things we learn.

  • Programming for Creativity
  • Design Data Structures
  • Mathematics and Art
  • Theories and Philosophies of Technology
  • Animation and Moving Image Production
  • Simulated, Immersive & Interactive Environments
  • Smart Systems
  • Emerging Practices
  • Intellectual Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management

Essentially it’s a combination of Art, Design, Communication Studies, Computing, Mathematics and Engineering. It is basically the degree of my dreams. I have never been so eager to learn in my life and March can’t come soon enough!

Oh yea I went on a spontaneous road trip a few weeks ago. The trip was planned but we had no clue where we were staying. It was epic. Just thought you’d like to know ;)

Sounds freaking epic. You sound like a fun person. We should be friends.  I always highly recommend going on road trips. You haven’t lived until you’ve been on one!

@JoeCareyNZ, at the age of 90 we agreed we would leave our wives and marry each other. I hope to god this never happens. If that does happen I will take up extreme sports.

How come you’re so confident? So many people these days have low self-esteem, kudos to you for being confident in being yourself.

Life’s too short to be unhappy. Also I wrote an in depth post about this here. Plus, confidence is attractive (Arrogance, not so much). You need to be confident in yourself, If no one was confident in themselves nothing would get done and I can’t always rely on the compliments of others.
