A member of a New Zealand gaming forum GamePlanet Forums, Alex, 19 years of age, was diagnosed with terminal cancer on the 14th of October and estimated he had two weeks to live.
He received an overwhelming amount of support with $3505 plus more donations from the community at GamePlanet Forums.
He tragically passed away on the 22nd of October.
People can do the most amazing things. It’s simply amazing the compassion shown towards what was to most people a complete stranger.
